Snapshots of the track during development

By the time I got done with the track, I ended up with 24 additional interim saved tracks. Click on the following links and watch the track grow.

The working name of the track was "Hmm". In the video, you can see at the beginning the track that's selected is called "hmm26". Hmm06 is missing. Maybe there never was one. The tracks are named after one of the questions at the root of the Vectorius track, "Hmm, I wonder how hard it is to keep the sled on it's nose." ;)

  • Hmm01 Just the first couple of swoops
  • Hmm02 The first nose section grows slowly
  • Hmm03 Yep, very very slowly
  • Hmm04 Maybe sometimes not at all
  • Hmm05 Finally made it to the face plant
  • Sorry Hmm06 is missing.
  • Hmm07 The second nose section is started
  • Hmm08 Trying to keep him from falling this time
  • Hmm09 Found the bottom of the death drop
  • Hmm10 Starting to build the labrynth
  • Hmm11 The lowest ramp is done
  • Hmm12 I started adding arrows to mark the paths
  • Hmm13 More loops
  • Hmm14 More loops
  • Hmm15 Using all available space for track
  • Hmm16 Everybody loves the little upwards u-turn
  • Hmm17 I get a not so bright idea (Check the number of lines)
  • Hmm18 I think the track part is basically done here
  • Hmm19 Decided against the freehand drawn curbs on the track
  • Hmm20 Replacing the freehand lines with more efficient ones
  • Hmm21 Almost all the first draft curbs are drawn
  • Hmm22 Added some artwork and a name
  • Hmm23 Added most of the art now
  • Hmm24 Polishing up the curbs and decorations
