I'm looking for members of my father's family. His name was John Ross Reveile. The Bell County Birth records as reported on USGenWeb.org show his name as John Washington Revcible or something like that but I have it on the authority of his widow, my mother Carol Eleanor Bird (maiden name), that his name was John Ross Reveile.
His parents were Martha E(lla?) McCutcheon (Maiden name) and James Henry Reveile. He had a full brother named J. D. Reveile who served in the Korean war and died in the 70's or 80's. He had two other siblings from James Henry Reveile and at least three half siblings who shared the same mother. They were Virgil (Buck), Danny and Nelda (Nellie) Townzen.
John Ross Reveile died in a fishing accident on my first birthday, Feb. 7th, 1959 and my mother moved to California to raise my brother and I near her parents. I know that my mother stayed in touch with "Grandma Townzen" for many years but by the time I was of age "Grandma Townzen" had passed away and we had lost touch with the Texas side of the family.
I moved my family to Austin, Texas in 2003 for business and am now in a position to attempt to locate those "lost" relatives. If you are or know any of the above individuals, please contact me with your email address.
